How do I revoke an unused course invitation?

This article shows you how to revoke course invitations you’ve sent to learners. You can do this in two ways:

For an individual learner (Method 1)

For all learners in a course (Method 2)

Method 1 (For an individual learner)

  1. Navigate to Manage Learners in your training manager account.
  2. Find or search for the learner in question and click on their name.
  3. Click on the Invite History tab to see pending invites.
  4. Clicking on the three dots next to a course and clicking 'Cancel' from the dropdown will allow you to return the license to your pool for re-assignment

Method 2 (For all learners in a course)

  1. Log into your training manager account, and head to the 'Manage Licenses' tab.
  2. Find the course in question and click the 3 dots on the right, a drop-down menu should appear with the option to 'Distribute'.
  3. You'll see 3 tabs: Invites, Enrolment Keys, and Usage. You'll want to navigate to the 'Usage' tab.
  4. All learners who were invited to this course should populate here. You'll be able to view the status of invitation as well as progress for them. Any highlighted 'Cancel' buttons can be clicked to return the license to your pool. This will revoke the invitation and your learner will no longer have access to the material.

Please Note: Any license invitations that have been accepted can not be revoked, as they are considered to be in progress and are now bound to the account. You will see the Cancel button as unselectable. Invites remain active for 30 days. After that, the license is returned to the training manager (you), and you will no longer see a pending invite.
