What is an activation code?

An activation code links a Training Managers account to a learner account. Once the accounts have been linked, the code will disappear from the Training Manager's account. It is not required to set up an account, but can be provided to a learner if the learner did not receive an email invite for the training or you do not have contact information for them.

The activation code you receive from your Training Manager is unique to you and will allow you to access the account that has been created on your behalf (Method 1). You can also use an activation code if you have a pre-existing Rapid account (Method 2).

Method 1 for people without pre-existing accounts:

  1. Visit the homepage of our website for online training and click ‘Log in or Create Account’ in the top left bar. Skip the section where it asks for your email and below, enter the activation code in the "Activation Code Registration" box.
  2. The following screen is the signup form. You will see any information your training manager already entered for you here - ensure it is correct and fill out any missing fields required to complete your sign up, denoted by * in the fields.
  3. After clicking ‘Create and Link Account’ you will be logged into your account.

Method 2 for people with pre-existing Rapid accounts:

  1. Sign into Rapid with your account
  2. Navigate to "My Courses" from the tabs on the left hand side
  3. In the top right cover click the blue button that says ">_Use Activation Code"
  4. Enter the code provided by your training manager and hit submit, your accounts will now be linked.

If you were also granted training, you will see a bar at the top of your screen asking you to accept the training. After you accept, your course(s) will be found in the ‘My Courses’ section.
